It’s the final weekend of The Big Fresno Fair.

Here’s what to expect from the entertainment lineup at the Paul Paul Theater:

▪ A big crowd on Thursday, Oct. 15, to see 311. While the band is known for reggae-influences [[on the 1999 hit “Come Original,” for example), it represents the fair’s sole “rock” show. As such, it should be packed.

▪ A bigger crowd the following night, Friday, Oct. 16, for Motown songstress Diana Ross. Based on our overheard conversations, this seems to be the show people want to see. Tickets are going fast, too, according to the fair. As of last week, it was the third best-selling show of the fair’s run, behind The Band Perry and Gabriel Iglesias [[who sold out for a third year).

▪ Teenagers, out in force to see singer/actress Sabrina Carpenter for the afternoon show, 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Carpenter plays Maya Hart on the Disney Channel show “Girl Meets World.” Her debut album, “Eyes Wide Open,” is out on Hollywood Records.

▪ Expensive jewelry on Georgia rapper 2Chainz, who plays the late show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. The rapper is known for his expensive tastes. He hosts a video series dedicated to expensive stuff — like a $1K ice cream sundae or a $48K pair of sunglasses.

▪ A diva in Mexican songstress Gloria Trevi, who closes out the fair at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. Trevi is is often hailed as the Mexican Madonna because of her in-your-face sexuality, which she mixes with political activism and feminism.

Ive never been to a fair where you have to pay a $60 concert ticket fee on top of a entrance fee to the fair and Dianes admission is they highest priced ticket. Shes ceertainly worth it mind you so im not throwing shade just making observations.
