A Chess cut? Is this then a non-Mototown CD? Is it from Ace.Kent?

Robb, that has to be a Chess Records recording or another label's recording before the Tops signed on with Motown. On the box set "Fourever", they include a couple of Chess sides, Riverside and Columbia. I can't tell which label recorded that song.

The 50s song is question is called "My Baby's Sitter". They sing in the style of Louis Jordan on that one.

Ok I am finding out more about the song. It was recorded in 1956 for Chess Records but went unreleased.

"Starving For Your Love" could have hit if it were released and promoted. I like the sound of it.

I take it that the rest of the CD is filled with Motown cuts? Or are there also some Whitfield cuts? No one answered my question about who put out the CD. Is it a Universal release? Or Hip-O-Select? Or Ace/Kent?

So far all of the songs I have heard were released on the Lost and Found 2 cd set and the 4 cd Box Set

Thanks Mike! That helps clears some things up. I no longer have to look for this non-existent CD.
