I love Kashif's music. He is a great producer but he also made some killer tracks of his own in the 80's. Thanks for posting. I shall await the full episode.

That was a great Unsung episode. They haven't done that in a while [[I also like KC's Unsung episode). Kashif is one of the few artists/producers who not only learned how to deal in the cutthroat music business but also thrived via owning his masters/publishings, starting his own university to help starving artists, and, in the case of the police incident that was discussed, found a way to beat the system, though I wished it wasn't a settlement but hey... and he came out of a very horrible childhood to beat the odds too! Very inspiring tale.
