Why aren't they covered in the mainstream media anymore? Where is Cindy Sheehan?

If the US is anything like the UK, it's because the media ae scared s**tless of what the government will do with their franchises if they don't toe the line. The BBC doesn't employ reporters any more. They have people who read and reinterpret official statements. It's more important to them to hob-nob with the misruling classes than to show any integrity. You can have a million people on the streets of London [[more people than watch most of the shows) and it doesn't get a mention on the telly here.

Just looked at the TV listings for tonight and, how timely, John Pilger on the very subject of media bias in war reporting generally. Hope you will get this across the pond in the fullness of time.
