I believe Michelle Aller played the nightclub singer singing HAD YOU BEEN AROUND in the film LADY SINGS THE BLUES [[1972). She's singing in the club that Billy Dee Williams takes Diana Ross to fairly early in the movie.

Here's an article about Michelle from 1993:

One my favorite "small things" in Lady Sings The Blues is Michelle singing the closing line of "Had You Been Around" ... It's supposed to be comical and she's supposed to be cheesy lounge singer---- I always heard beyond that ... I liked the melody and from the first time i saw the movie I thought it sounded like it would be a great song for Diana Ross..... Then decades later I found out Miss Ross DID do her own version .... I KNEW IT !!!!
