Many thanks to Gio Malgio for this somewhat strange floating stage video posting on YouTube.

Yes, it is indeed a very strange setting, isn't it.....

It's as if Diana had been taking part in a triumphant street carnival procession, which has been suddenly devastated by a huge tidal wave.

Everyone, and everything else, has been swept away in the torrent.

Diana is being rescued on what remains of her carnival float, pushed to safety by a few traffic policemen, while they patiently wade through the flooded streets.

Diana rises above the situation by singing. As she does so, she waves to other survivors who have taken shelter on the upper floors of nearby buildings. She has not a hair out of place and, lest she sinks, is all the while wearing rain boots........

I think you might have nailed it, WGB. The rain boots were certainly a funny--and, shall we say, practical--ending touch.

All it needed was Flipper......

I always say, when in peril....SING!

That's so true, WGB. Such good advice.

Too bad we can't see the shoes in the video. Perhaps something along the lines of these:

'High Tide Heels'....with what look like 'Plastic Beach Spade' soles....and constructed with a fitting which looks extremely narrow.

Clearly, they are intended for very special occasions; custom made, for discerning customers born with webbed feet.....

...like The Man from Atlantis.

The Man From the Prudential wouldn't buy any; just try to sell you insurance, in case you fell off those heels....

I wonder if that gown turned into a liferaft..... With a motor of course.
