Even though this Shindig! appearance has been on SDF before, this is the first time I've seen a video clip of it in such good condition as it is here. Seemed worth re-posting just for that.

And, as you well know, everyone's alternating on lead. A very nice--and deserved--touch.

Absolutely love this. The other version isn't as clear. I love hearing Flo solidly and strongly on a lead. The only other video I can think of where she leads so clearly is on the Sammy David Show singing the Andrews Sisters medley. I'd love to have a clearer print of that!

Yes, thanks I've seen that. I especially like that since they obviously switched Diana and Flo's mics and you can really hear Flo on MWIEWY[[B).

This is historic..is it the only time the three each had a lead on tv? Florence looks so happy here and like the "sexy one." Finally she gets a chance to shine a bit..and Mary belts it out. Were their vocals pre-recorded? Thanks M!

Luke - It's the only time on TV I can recall when they all shared the lead. Someone else might know if there was another time or possibly more. Perhaps they'll be able to answer your pre-recording question, too. Glad you enjoyed the clip.
