Arr&bee, "Going To A Go-Go" and "Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On [[In My Heart) will always be my favorite Smokey Robinson & The Miracles dance tracks, but "Come On Do The Jerk" and "I've Gotta Dance To Keep From Crying" are right up there, too, as are "The Soulful Shack" and "Dancing's Alright". Smokey may have claimed that he couldn't dance, but his dance tunes sure made up for it!

Oh yeah, "Come On Do the Jerk" and "Mickey's Monkey" were two of the songs you dance to for company, your parents company in those days! LOL!!!!

Let's not forget "It's A Good Good Feeling" for line dancing to the Waggner Walk. "My Love Is Your Love Forever" is also up there in the Jersey/Philly clubs for dancing, while "Mickey's Monkey" is still my all time favorite - - - only next to "Going To A Go-Go" for dancin'....

I was EXTREMELY disappointed when "Come on do The Jerk" came out. I felt it wasn't even remotely close to The Miracles' standard. I also don't like "Going To A Go Go". I like "Mickey's Monkey" a lot more, but never really liked The Miracles' "dance" songs. I also didn't like "Whole Lot of Shakin' In My Heart. I DO like many of their up-tempo songs, however.

Man, I loved "Come On Do the Jerk"...Motown put out a lot of "Jerk" records as it was the cool danbce for awhile. The Miracles had a badass routine to Come On Do the Jerk.

Junior Walker cut a lot of songs perfect for doing The Jerk.
