This song i think is sort of forgotten in the grandness of the temps vast discography but this early dennis lead was a good one,as he brings a kind of longing and edge to his voice dennis does a good job on this gem and i just wanted to give shout out to a song of lost love from the man with the big voice!

I completely agree--the Temptations version of "Since I've Lost You" is killer. That song was recorded by other Motown acts including Jimmy Ruffin and Gladys Knight and the Pips, but the Temps version is the best. I was not exactly thrilled when the Temptations went into their psychedelic phase, but fortunately [[for me at least) on the B side of each of those records they included a more traditional soul song: "Why Did She Have To Leave Me [[Why Did She Have To Go)" [[other side of "Cloud Nine"); "I Need Your Lovin" [[flip side of "Runaway Child, Running Wild"); "Since I’ve Lost You" [[B side of "Don’t Let The Joneses Get You Down"), etc.
