Today is a mighty sad day for Chicago, the Cubs and baseball. Ron Santo passed away this morning at age 70.

A member of the Heartbreak Kids of 1969, it's a cryin' shame he isn't in the Hall Of Fame. To one of the best ballplayers ever to come out of Seattle [[Franklin High School), Rest in Peace.

Got a chance to stop by Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon. There were flowers and cards all around the park. MLB channel just ran This Old Cub back to back with this year's HOF induction ceremony. I think their point was well taken.
