Looks to be about 850,000 British pounds at current exchange rates ... you'd be lucky to get a two bedroom apartment near the centre of London for that amount.

Yeah, how funny the girls' portraits are still there! The recent owner must have at least enjoyed the legacy he purchased via the mansion.

Great photos. Most of the rooms do appear to be on the small side except for the party or bonus rooms. I have a feeling those may be part of the guest house [[or pool house, did they call it?).

I think at one time in old Hollywood a bowling alley was considered the height of chic! Kind of like now they all have to have elaborate home theatres.

Not sure if any of it is true but word was back a few years that the mansion needed a lot of work. It will be nice to see what it looks like inside and in the basement.
