All the credit for this posting goes to Motown01 who put it up on YouTube and then placed it on SDF originally in 2010. I hadn't seen it before and just came across it on YouTube. It's jammed packed with fascinating information and coverage, so I wanted to help make it available to anyone, like myself, who might not have seen it. It's just too good to miss. Many, many thanks to Motown01.

We also need to credit Woodward who paid for transcribing the show from a VHS tape to a DVD so that Billy could upload it.

I tried to buy a video of the show at the same time as Woodward but even though I paid for it, I was never sent my copy. Thankfully Woodward got his copy.

Tbfxt - Thanks for the inside crediting scoop/acknowledgement on Woodward's help with this.

[[P.S. With your post, I think you just added PART 8!)

Thank you Methuselah2, Woodward, tbfxt, and all who played a part in making this documentary available. I've always loved the Invictus/Hot Wax labels as well as all of the artists, singles, and albums on it. Thankfully, the CD era has been kind to Invictus/Hot Wax, given the release of nearly all of their albums as well as the 14-CD "Complete Invictus/Hot Wax 45's Collection". The above documentary was a great bonus. I especially enjoyed the Edna Wright and Freda Payne interviews. Also interesting to see the lead singer of Flaming Ember in motion, if only for a few brief moments.

I posted some clips of Jerry Plunk on Facebook. I'll try and dig them out from youtube for you.

I'm a big fan of Jerry Plunk's voice.

Okay, tbfxt. Sounds good! I'll be watching for them. I love his voice, too!

Thanks for the video clips, tbfxt. I really enjoyed those! I wasn’t aware that Flaming Ember had any public-performance videos available, as they never seemed to get much exposure. They had some great dance tracks on Hot Wax, but my all-time favorite Flaming Ember recording will always be "Sunshine". I remember the day I first heard it on our local A.M. radio station. It blew me away to the point I made a special trip into town that very day to pick up a copy of the single. An H-D-H masterpiece, it’s highly reminiscent of "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted" and every bit as good, at least in my book.

"The Empty Crowded Room" is a good Flaming Ember track that is usually overlooked.
