And, soulwally, I’ve gotta agree. I’ve always found "You Don’t Have To Be A Baby To Cry" to be somewhat annoying, too, yet when I saw their CD available back in 2005, I had to buy it – just in case there was something good hidden on there. I’m glad I did, as there are two tracks that are kinda girl-groupish that I like a lot, especially the first one below:

I never liked that female Caravelles group. But I do like the male group from 1962-64, who were from Detroit, led by Harry Gates, and sang "Pink Lips" and "Angry Angel" on Carmen Murphy's Starmaker Records.

Harry also recorded as Lee Gates and was also lead singer of Detroit's first dramatics group, who recorded for Joe Hunter and Fred Brown, and had a release on Juggy Murray's Crackerjack Records. Harry was also lead of Detroit's Casualairs.
