This new re-issue from Valerie. It's reckoned to be the wrong price. Anybody know what is on it.

It's virtually the same track listing as the UK Spectrum compilation from 2004 which is now out of print. It comprise her 2 motown albums. Well worth checking out if you didn't buy the spectrum release.

And on the cover it mentions bonus tracks...but no listing is available yet.

This is wonderful news! It's a 2fer of Ms. Simpson's first two Motown / Tamla solo LPs, "Exposed" and "Valerie Simpson". Two long-time favorites of mine! Looks to have new/expanded booklet with contribution by David Nathan, which is always a good thing. I have these titles on LP from their original releases as well as a mish-mash compilation from a US label with most of the tracks - but I will be happy to have them in their original running order.

I pre-ordered my copy today, too, mystersinger. Whenever Motown gets reissued on an import label, as this is, you folks in the U.K. always get your copies first. But that's okay. Aside from the bonus track [[whatever that may be), I've already got all of the tracks on the Spectrum CD. I'm just buying this for the two album-cover artwork, so I'm in no hurry.
