This must mean that the "Detroit" show hasn`t been lost - wonderful news.

Great to see this. Always liked the song.

What a mesmerising image. If Chris had fallen off that roof, there still wouldn't have been a hair out of place on that helmet....LOL

Detroit show? Any idea who else may have performed?

Ross, it was Marvin Gaye, Chris Clark and Martha & the Vandellas.I think that the only track we haven`t seen is "Dancing In The Street".

There's a clip of DITS in a retrospective film that I've recently seen. Their outfits were the same as in one of their other songs...but I don't remember which ones now.

I don't really think there was a "Detroit show", per se. "Where The Action Is" typically only had 2 guests on each half hour show....each doing 2 songs. There is also the Four Tops at the Roostertail doing "Something About You."

There's a great remix of "Something About You" with that clip John....do you know it! LOLOL

A few nights ago, I was watching a late night infomercial for a new soul collection from Time Life. In it, they showed a clip of the Spinners singing I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. It was very brief, but I could tell it was filmed outside the Roostertail. Perhaps it was from this episode as well.

Reese, the Spinners also performed "Truly Your`s" on the same show and it was from 26th. July 1966. So hopefully this and the full track will be available soon.

Thanks boyfromxtown -- The Four Tops "Something About You" -- God, I love that record! The bells [[vibes?) and the baritone sax are the essence of The Motown Sound. Should have been a huge hit on the charts as well as on the dance floor.

Thank you, John, for sharing this ultra-rare Chris Clark video. It's the first time I've ever seen her in action. I'm not crazy about the song [[too early-Motown cha-cha beat-ish for my taste), but it's historically satisfying nonetheless. Wouldn't it be cool to see Chris lip-syncing "I Want To Go Back There Again" or "Whisper You Love Me Boy"!

I always thought "Do Right Baby, Do Right" was the A side. I didn't know nothing about Chris Clark when I bought that 45, I know it was before Loves Gone Bad.
