Yes, very interesting [[in its own, strange way...LOL)

I thought "Hang on Bill" could have been a hit at the time with the right promotion.I bought the record because it was Motown, never heard it on the radio.

I also bought it because it was on a Motown record. They didn't play it in Chicago. I'd have been surprised if they played in any US city [[basically because Motown didn't push it at all, and it got no press and no distributor push.

Puppet On A String was actually coupled with Hang On Bill on 45. She surprised me by NOT doing Hang On Bill on this Hullabaloo special.

One of the worst Motown sides, ever! Loved 'Hang On Bill'/Pearl' :)

I kept seeing Diana or Mary in those dancers; sorry!

Robb has EVERY Motown Record!

Good Lord, what a modest affair.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. I DO have most of the 45s from 1959 through 1970. But, I'm missing a few of the really hard ones, and missing several of the LPs.

The "baby, baby" makes me want to segue into "Where Did Our Love Go?"

"Her biggest recording came via an association with Sergio Mendes; she sang lead on the Brazilian's number four 1983 hit "Never Gonna Let You Go.""
