Not all of those performances are from BBC shows but that's OK.

A complete show full of clips of Motown artists appearing on the 'Ready Steady Go!' weekly programmes would be infinitely more than OK with me...;)

The selection for the BBC was a bit disappointing. They could have had the Supremes and the Four Tops doing You Gotta Have Love In Your Heart, Gladys Knight singing a Motown song like Help Me Make It Through the Night..and Frankie Valli singing Cant Take My Eyes Off You.....it makes us Brits look foolish.

Having a brainfade moment. Did we ever get a DVD of the 'RSG : 'The Sound of Motown' show?

Not a DVD....a VHS video yes

I have the video, but can't remember if I still have a player!

If I had a RSG/Motown DVD, I could play it now, before that also goes out of fashion.

That Dave Clark has a lot to answer for.....

I always believed that Dave Clark won't permit any DVD recordings of any RSG shows, and that any DVDs of The Sound Of Motown are simply copies from the video tapes.

Still, if the picture and sound quality is good, they could still be useful.

Thank you Roger, that's a very kind offer.

I'm watching a cheap copy on eBay, so am hoping I don't have to ask you to go to that trouble...:)
