The sound of Patrice's voice was too similar to that of her sister. She would have done well elsewhere. Too bad this track never saw the light of day-back in the day. It had moderate hit written all over. The Marvelettes would have sounded great on this one and could have used a hit in early 1964. It sounds like something from Smokey's pen.

There was an item in today's Daily Telegraph making exactly this point. It wasn't signed by The Boy From Crossbuns, but I could understand you not wanting people to know that you write for this newspaper ... !
