I am listening to Hair & Thangs for the first time in a while. Good stuff!
Lyman was a bad ass!

I enjoyed playing regularly at the Frolic Show Bar and Morey Baker's with Lyman Woodard on B3 organ and Melvin Davis on drums and vocals. We usually worked four nights a week. We also played at the Michigan State Fair and opened for the MC5 at the Grande Ballroom. We played jazz, funk, and Psychedelic Soul. I also did recording sessions during the day. Those were great times! That was my first album as an artist. The Evolution album with Scorpio was my second album.

Dennis, being a B3 player, I used to come in and see you guys from time to time, and was always blown away by Lyman's playing. You guys were really tearing it up back then.

I have a live CD recorded back in the late sixties of me, Lyman, and Melvin Davis. It has never been released

Can you confirm that the original LP was released in 1969 or 1970. There is no year mentioned on the original pressing and it was never mentioned in billboard magazin. Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter. I think it was released in 1969. I know it was released a few years before my Evolution album.

Dennis, I believe there would be a market for that live show.
