Mary sounds really great on " Come See About Me." and "Stop In the Name of Love". I am going to buy it. Thanks rod_rick.

Does anyone have any details about when/where this was recorded? I listened to it on Spotify. That's not Martha Reeves singing, despite her being listed on the cover.

Supposedly recorded in London in 2011

Levi Stubbs passed away in 2008 so unless you know something I don't.....

It's all very odd. Jimmy hasn't been on stage for along long time and that's not Martha either. I haven't a clue who is singing the Temps tracks...

There is another website that says the cd is copyright 2010 but released in 2011. It does sound like Levi on the 2 Four Tops numbers even though I don't know who sang his stuff in the lineup from 2010-2011. But, it doesn't really sound like Martha Reeves to me.

It may just have been a compilation of recordings the artist did with the London Symphony and released in 2011.

Seems more likely.

I was beginning to worry if a ouija board was involved!

Rubbish! Ersatz Motown. Not Martha & not Jimmy but it is Levi! It's also available on CD Baby, most Amazons etc. Beach Music don't seem to have a web site!

Ok but seriously, the only true identifiable voices I was able to pick out so far from this collection are:

Mary Wilson
Levi Stubbs,
Jimmy Ruffin.

I don't know who it is singing the Martha & the Vandellas songs or the Temptations Just My Imagination.

Marv, Nathan backing track sounds like it was a borrowed Karaoke track. Almost a Ian Levin type production. Just sayin.

This is a re-recording by the FLOS - Jean Terrell, Scherrie Payne & Lynda Lawrence. I have it on a couple of FLO's recordings that were sold under the name The Supremes. One is Baby Love and the other is Hits Hits Hits. So, I believe you are correct detmotownguy, it is an Ian Levine production.
