Smokey is a songwriter who has written many classic songs that have stood the test of time. Songwriting is where the money is at.

It's hard to say what level of accuracy there is here.

Aretha Franklin is notorious for not paying her bills and for getting sued. Her recent biography said she hasn't got anywhere near the money she should have due to spending.

A lot of wealth can be built by proper investment; singers are notoriously unknowledgeable. And I don't know how anyone would get any reliable access to wealth information.

Entertainment is a lot of hype. A lot of those big movie stars ect don't have the kind of money people think they do. A lot of those big houses in Bel Aire & Beverly Hills are owned by corporations and those "stars" lease them.
