I know he lived a very full and fruitful life still his passing made me sad this morning... He was my father's favorite trumpeter. Goodbye, Mumbles...Love you madly....

God Bless his soul. A truly great human being....not to mention musician. I had the opportunity to spend a whole day with him back in the early 00s when we opened the Louis Armstrong Museum at Queens College. He had a very lively spirit ,lots of energy and a lot of knowledge about music and life in general. I stood by him and watched him greet and speak to every person that approached him that day. I even got him to do a little of "Mumbles" for me. LOL! It was a lot of fun and I thank him again here and now.

Rest in peace Mr. Terry, you've done good and we will miss you.
