There is still a huge amount of interest in genuine soul as evidenced by 1023691 visitors to this brilliant soul mix on youtube. When I listen to this, beats me how [[1) Sam Smith and Adele etc etc are crowned as soul singers, and [[2) how genuine soul musical artistry has been surrendered/ practically eradicated in the US, lost to cheap technology and tacky video promoting individuals who can't sing. Just my opinion of course. Oh, and just listen to the real instruments and the blaring horns that showcase the vocalists on this mix!

First, I agree that it's a shame that people don't know what soul music is anymore. I have a lot of explanations for it, but I won't bother to go into it because it will get racial.

Second, I listened to that youtube clip, and, frankly, it bored me. It's all the same style. The songs are slow.
