Sometimes I wished that all of the survivors of Motown/Hitsville just got together in one location, turned on audio/visual recording equipment and just talked, talked, talked.....Giving an oral history of Motown. I believe there would be information and stories that would come up that was never in any of the books.

That's the story Martha told about 30 years ago about recording LIVE WIRE. You have to giver her credit, its lot of history to be asked about on short notice or on the spot.

Think Martha was having a 'senior' moment. Live Wire was recorded in December, Heatwave in June.

I seem to remember the same story but it was Dancing in The Street.. regardless it was over 50 years ago and I have a hard time remembering what I had for lunch yesterday..

The First Lady of Motown Records Dr Martha Reeves is almost 74 so shes allowed too forget a detail or two or three that happen over 50 years ago.

God bless and protect the First Lady of Motown Records Dr Martha Reeves.

Fondly,

Roberta
