Amazing how popular Lady, Mahogany and The Wiz all are ~ especially The Wiz.

All 3 of her feature films have left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry for various reasons.......pretty cool. Didn't say if it will be upgraded to Blu-ray though. But at that price point, probably not.

Disappointed, as it sounds like there isn't really anything new here. Likely only a re-release to keep it in print, which is a sign that the first edition must have sold well.

I agree. Would be interesting if there were any outtakes; might have been nice to have some interviews, or "behind the scenes" footage. Of all of Diana's fils, I like this one best. I mean, hello, camp classic.

Totally agree, Mary Brewster. It would have been nice to have some real extras. Also my favourite film by Miss Ross. I don't need to buy another copy to get the original cover and some photos and prints. I'm sure some fans will go for it though.

Nice package. Folks, I think the title of this release says it all. "The Couture Edition". This movie is very popular with fashion designers and people who are into fashion. So this release is geared towards them hence the title [[couture edition). So this is why there are sketches, and pictures of the fashions. Is it just me or do certain parts of this movie look stretched? I had it on VHS, seen it on Cable on various stations and it always looks the same. Like certain parts weren't filmed right. Some times the sound is off too. Maybe it's just me. I hope this release has the highest quality visually and sound wise. I do agree it would be great if they included other extras. Deleted scenes, or maybe even an interview with Billy and Diana.

I doubt this will get a UK release. Lady Sings the Blues was more popular here than Mahogany and has never been available in the UK.
