When love child came out in sept 68 and i heard what is now known as one of the andantes hitting that high note, i thought it was cindy birdsong hitting it, i never heard of the andantes in 68 so was shocked to find out that neither supreme wilson or birdsong were on it. I think had wilson not taken her long needed vacation and she and cindy were on the record cindy would have handled that note just as efectively but who knows how the record.s bckg vocal structure would have been changed or remained the same. As the live recording sounds different.
