Great tune. They were from here in the UK and were produced by Ken Gold [[the real thing).. their biggest hit over here was "where is the love we used to know" but I believe Oh Honey made them a one-hit wonder in the U.S. Oh Honey was also sampled numerous times in 90's R&B/Hip Hop tracks.

Interesting; thanks! In your opininion is the group's work strong enough to be worth buying a best-of cd?

I didn't know they were from the UK unitl i heard a DJ mention it about 3 years ago.

I had 3 songs on my USB when I had a full carpool of BSA music students. They sort of liked Oh Honey.....Really liked Put A Little Love on Me......and used to go batsh!t over the chorus to Where is the Love.

You can tell when teens are grooving to your tunes when they yank out their plugs and start singing along.

Thinking about those days reminds me that I promised them a thread here on SDF. It's time.

I know they remastered their albums recently.... I think to buy these three in the UK would be cheaper to buy than a best of... no sure in the states. If you're after similar stuff to Oh Honey you' d need to seek more album tracks

Maybe try the golden classic edition cd

They had big disco hits with You & I and Heartache No.9 with these types of bands you'd probably find a gem on their albums

Love this song. Used to have the album back in the day. This was a big hit with all the kids I knew.

Where's the part where the guy says:

Aquarius...and my name is Ralph.

Check out Delegation’s "Welcome To My World". Very Stylistics-ish. [[YouTube video posted by Chris Basios):
