Flo was a big & beautiful sista. Although "sexy" Mary and "thin is in" Diana are more my type. Also was this when Berry started getting on Flo about her weight. I've never seen her look so large next to Diana & Mary. Cameras can be cruel.

According to one writer - this was the beginning of the period of much stressful tension within the group. Flo looks to be about a size 10 here - which is certainly not large - and many women today wish they could fit into a ten. However standing next to Diana at size two and Mary at a four - anyone, even a ten would look larger than the others - when in fact Flo was never over weight while in The Supremes.
