Whose bright idea was this, more radical songs got pushed bfr stoned love sly and the family stone, the tempts cloud nine, ball of confusion. I guess no one wanted the supremes singing about peace love and love for ur fellow man evev thoughh it was interupted with another theme, the song stll sold a million.

This is the appearance on The Merv Griffin Show from early 1972 where they performed "Where You Lead" and "Floy Joy", and have the interview with Merv. Notice the medallion around Mary's neck, which is mentioned during the interview.
