The Ultimate Collection has a great sound quality IMO, especially the chosen mixes of Shotgun and Road Runner. I think all the songs are presented in the 45 mixes.

About a year ago I bought a Jr. Walker & the Allstars greatest hits collection from Amazon.com. It was pretty good, but it did not have all their hits [[mid-sized hits, etc). I have to find it and let you know.

Jr. Walker is so overdue for a full box set treatment. I always have wondered, and I think I posed the question before, do you think he got less credit in jazz circles because he recorded for Motown? You never seem to hear about him being discussed in any articles about Jazz from the 70s and 80s; it seems he's just considered a "Motown artist." Any opinions?

Nothing But Soul is the best but it may be tough to find. I'd recommend getting the albums though because there are more album filler tracks not on comps that are better than the hits and singles released.
