Diana Ross set to perform at the grand re-opening of the restored and renovated theater. Did any classic Motown or soul acts perform at this theater back in the day?

I don't think this was ever a performance theater. Kings was part of the Lowes movie chain . I think it only showed movies. It never divided into little theaters like many of the other Lowes Theater [[Including the one on Broadway).
