Howdy there, oh ye of Holiday Cheer! Tonight "Nightflight" kicks off part one of my 2 part Holiday Bash! Join me for an extensive collection of Pop, Soul, Motown [[of course), Jazz, Great American songbook and lots of odds and ends to satisfy even the grinchiest of Grinches amongst us [[my favorites are the odds and ends!) It's taken me a couple of decades to fill my library with songs you would never hear on endless rotation on commercial radio. Do join me...tonight...on "Nightflight" on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans and streaming live worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org [[http://www.womr.org) Thanks....and see you on the radio! Oh dear, it looks as if your radiola partiola is high fashion..... and I don't have a thing to wear but a sloppy dress, a dirty raggedy head scarf and stockings, rolled low.
I'll be the one outside the back [[servants entrance) door.
If you find it in your heart, might you have the waitstaff pass a pot or two outside before they wash them.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that Mommie Dearest in the photo? Not exactly the person you think of when Christmas cheer comes to mind!!!

Back in the day, when cassettes were in vogue, I made a Christmas cassette for a friend with whom I exchanged gag gifts. Every 3rd song on the tape was "Donde Esta Santa Claus". Shall I say that Claudia was not amused.

Hers is the most beautiful voice especially on Christmas songs. Her "Little Altar Boy" is heartbreaking, especially when you consider her history.

John;
What an eclectic Christmas radio show! What else would one expect from you. And not one, but two Christmas rockers from Mae West. You can bet that she'll has some mistletoe stashed behind her wings waitin' for the proper occasion! And what a finer extro to the evening than the Jean Terrell led Supremes. Thank you SO much, John. Best present ever!
