It was just deleted as I was reading it. The reason is the same ol' same ol'.
A thread that had nothing to do with Diana Ross turned into a Bash Diana Thread and the whole thread was deleted. Now we have to wait and see if Ralph will implement the other part of his policy and ban the basher member.

It was an interesting thread.

It's interesting reading false allegations attacking a man's character? Shame on you. Ralph did the right thing by deleting it, and it had nothing do with Diane being brought up.

Why can't people just have a civil discussion about this? SMH

Why can't people just have a civil discussion about this? SMH When it gets to the point where you can't even have a civil discussion of someone, what do you have left? These threads go bad because the members turn on each other.

The crap about Ross was crazy talk, but it wasn't out of the line for Taylor because of his own words in that clip.

I am so glad this thread was deleted. I've lost so much respect for so many members and senior members who just love to play tabloid reporters and make their speculations appear as facts.

Each time I begin seeing these little "brawls" creep up, I cringe at first. Then I begin laughing when I imagine what RuPaul would say [[as she did at the beginning of the 'I Will Survive' video): "Girls! Girls! No, No, No." [[I am sure there will be a new thread to tell me that I did not put the words of her quote in EXACT order, but you get my idea.)

I guess it's the age we are living in, however, I know it's a choice whether or not to engage in the 7th grade catty back and forth exchanges.

The thing I was trying to do was to say how weird it was for Bobby to admit that. Not insinuating anything sinister, just that it was messed up. It was just to me, it was sending a very mixed signal. I don't know about Bobby's sexuality and don't care to, I just find it interesting he would mention that in retrospect of what happened to Michael. He shared too much, man. I'm guessing Roberta and Lulu were banned though? Lulu made a post and it got deleted. But of course it turned ugly. That wasn't my intention. For that purpose, I'm glad Ralph deleted it. I apologize for my part in it.

We weren't banned. We just both called out the usual offender on his sh*t. Per usual, he loses his mind when we talk positively about Diana news here [[BIM reissue, "Mockingjay", The Voice).

That would be me, and I apologize for offending anyone. I got carried away with it, but I did state that it was all speculation.

Still my original speculation makes sense, and I have read things about BT being gay. It is wrong to suggest that has anything to do with what could have transpired, but when you have both he and MJ saying the same thing, and knowing that Taylor had the brothers staying in his apartment, and knowing what history was, what I said was plausible. [[And, even The Enquirer had been correct with a few news stories at times).

But, I had nothing to do with that Diana Ross talk.I hope my apology helps restore some of your respect for me.

None of what was speculated is impossible. I hate when people immediately start acting like they know for sure. I went through the same thing about a week ago when a girl from Houston was blasting Governor Perry on a website for his comments about Gay Marriage when in fact she had credible evidence that he had hired male escorts on several occasions. Of course, his damn supporters blasted her as if they know the inner workings of the Perry husband/wife relationship and what he does/doesn't do. How'd that work for Senator Larry Craig??? Exactly...

I didn't get banned dear midnightman. Ralph knows I always debate and discuss in a real civil manner.

Yours, with every good wish.

^^ Me either. As you can see, every time people argue, I back away lol

I don't wanna ever lose anyone's respect for engaging in tabloid drama or drama in general. :)

@Roberta and Lulu, oh okay... but yeah, the video. I may post it again.

There comes a time when sharing too much information can go too far and that's really what I wanted to discuss. His own words, you know? Maybe if we can discuss this civilly and two sides give their side on why it was or it wasn't really suitable to air it out, maybe we can get somewhere here.

All I see as being wrong with the thread other than the anger directed by one person was that it ASSUMED that because Mr. Taylor said they slept together, an act of child molestation occurred. And that can't be assumed.

But in today's world, that is a practice that is very unwise and dangerous. As someone pointed out, perhaps he is suffering from some medical condition that does not allow him to understand the danger in making the admission he did.

Whether he is gay or not gay is irrelevant. It is not defamatory to him to be gay and he needs no defence of whatever he is.

And not EVERYTHING Motown has something to do with Miss Ross.

I hate it when people dismiss things as if everyone's lying. How many people did that when O.J. was charged? Why was he running? Why was he acting suicidal in the white Bronco? Sheesh! If it looks like a duck...

Sometimes people with good images and respect do bad things.

I fear that if you post it again, it's going to bring out the same drama. By the same, don't even hint at Marv, or what he writes. And, you know he can't resist. That's where these threads go bad. So, the solution to keep peace is to don't say anything about Diana, don't say anything about Marv. Problems solved!

Yeah he probably does have a medical condition.

That said, it's very dangerous that he even said this because it brings out assumptions that something sinister happened. Clearly, it seems that what allegedly occurred could explain why Michael thought it was normal. I don't know, it's really sad. I feel sad for the both of them actually [[MJ and Bobby).

Good news, Ralph, not all senior citizens develop dementia. It does tend to run in families. There may be other factors that factor into it, like high blood pressure, prior heart attacks, strokes, smoking, diabetes...

Where does Bobby Taylor live now?

I don't want to speak in his defence but I don't know whether I should or not.

It may have been a lack of judgement in what he said.

But perhaps he should have a little slack cut; he is not from the top tier of the Motown Family where they have wealth, riches, advisors or every kind, and protectors ~ those people generally know to make "no comment"; when you are one of the less recognized songwriters or singers, when you have an opportunity to be interviewed you sometimes say too much, phrase it less appropriately than you should have and are simply glad to have someone asking for your opinion.

Hong Kong. He performs there [[or at least did in 2013 and before, not completely sure if he still does) 3 times per week at the Skylark Lounge, where he can get respect and love from the audiences. Those suggesting he's out of the country because he's hiding are naive. Many soul and jazz musicians moved overseas because of the respect for the music that people have out there that they couldn't get in the states.

“Good show by Bobby Taylor” [[http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g294217-d2280200-r126723679-Skylark_lounge-Hong_Kong.html#REVIEWS) http://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gif Reviewed March 27, 2012
We went on a Thursday when Bobby Taylor does one set [[I think he may do two sets on Fridays and/or Saturdays). His band did the 2nd set on their own, after the first set with him. He does a great job on Motown hits and standards, and enjoys interacting with the crowd. Service from the bar was perfect

It may have been a lack of judgement in what he said. Which a prosecutor or psychologist could say that that lack of judgement could have played a role in what I suspect.

DEHYDRATION is a huge factor. My grandma was fit as a fiddle up there and as she started to decline elsewhere she stopped drinking water and her mind slowly unraveled. DRINK MORE WATER, PEOPLE!!!
