Soulwally, bootleg copies have been available for years. I would very eager to buy a legitimate version as I`ve seen some clips in excellent condition.

Do any of the bootleg copies you mention show a segment by the Temptations in their own right?

The first time I saw the show was at a Motown convention in Detroit celebrating the new Motorcity label releases. On that copy, and in every copy I've seen since, The Temptations only perform as Mary Wells' backup singers.

Thanks Reese. So, this must have been the period after El left and David joined. By the way, their harmonies backing Mary [[who is great too) were outstanding.
