Baby it's Me available as download Dutch i-Tunes

I thought I just check i-Tunes, and to my surprise, Baby It's Me is available in the Netherlands!

Its been on Itunes Australia and Germany since Friday. I bought it yesterday and keep playing the thing over and over. [[As Diana hoped we would back in 1977) Hats off to George, Andy, and Kevin because this is outstanding work. Gorgeous booklet, outstanding mixes, and I cannot say enough about how fantastic Brass Band is. I wont say more but everyone needs to buy it!

At least people can play previews ahead of release in other countries. Lovely to hear Brass Band and Country John finally. So much on the multis of the other tracks that wasn't used at the time. They all sound much more current with the violins pushed back and other things to the fore.

No Top Of The World [[5:50 12" Mix) that exists on acetate, so I guess no master exists.

The samples sound excellent. The copyright shows that it was indeed mastered last year, as had been reported on this forum.

For Europe, Qobuz just made the album available as a cd-quality download a few days ago. But like the Pono listing, there are only the 10 tracks from the original album, it's not expanded. I hope the bonus tracks are not exclusive to iTunes.

Well, i'm not going to jump through proxy hoops to get the Quboz version. I want to support Pono because it's good for America. I'm not worried about bonus tracks. I just hope it comes at a reasonable price.

I didn't pay attention to past expanded releases. I always just bought the cd. But were they available as downloads before or at the same time of the CD release? If they weren't then it appears that BMI expanded will not be out on cd. This is so very sad. That means A Go Go and the rest will not be physical releases. Can't another company put these out on CD?

What does "2014 Mix" mean? While I'm glad to have improved sound quality and three unreleased tracks, it looks like the bulk of this release is simply remixes of existing songs. That actually does not appeal to me, i. e., "Baby It's Me: The Album Remixed." Perhaps the Japanese release is a better choice.

It means a previous unreleased version. Alternate vocal or mix differences.

I find it strange that I have to pay almost $ 20.00 to download from Dutch itunes while in the us it is $ 12.99!:mad:
