On Diana's 1983 lp "Ross" [[RCA) she collaborated with Ray Parker Jr. on 2 tracks.

Love or Loneliness
Up Front

On "Love or Loneliness", I think Ray Parker Jr's. production with Diana's voice, and interpretation of the lyrics was a great combination. Of the two songs, I prefer this one. "Up Front" is a cool song and representative of the sound of the times. But 30 years later, doesn't hold up as well as "Love or Loneliness".

Nice post. I love both tracks; both have a signature Ray Parker sound yet complement Diana's singing. "LOL" is the funkier; "UF" the rock-ier. I've rediscovered these excellent tracks on the new reissues; the remixes of "UF" are nice to have as well. Diana did great work during the RCA years.

Thanx for posting. Had never heard these tracks before and had no idea that they collaborated before. Really enjoyed the "Love or Loneliness"
