One thing I have always liked about Mary when she wrote her book and talks to the fans she never forgets to mention the Funk brothers. She was one of the FIRST people do to so it was never all about her in the books. Her opinions may have made some people upset but she ALWAYS gave credit to others where it was due. Heck in her first book I remember how much she gave Miss Ross credit for working so hard.

Is this part of her Dare to Dream speech or just a lecture? I have never been to one of her Dare to Dream speeches.

I know this event was in Vegas. You are right, Mary Wilson has always been generous when it came to those unsung heroes like the Funk Brothers. She was the first and only one to tell us that the Andantes did the background to Love Child. This is a portion of her Dare to Dream lecture yes.

In 1959, she joined a talent show and was in the 8th grade. 15 years old and in the 8th grade?
