The performance is from Shindig and she's actually singing "live", but to the track, although you see musicians and the
Blossoms. She does fumble the lyrics a little on the second verse, however. But then those kind of mistakes make
"live" performances much more real and soulful. And then, how many of today's young performers can actually
perform "live", which is probably why there are no variety shows on the air anymore.

I thought her voice was superb and you can see how she set the stage for other Motown female performers.

Oh yea, her voice is in excellent condition! Mary Wells was truly an inspiration to all female vocalists of her time.
