Japanese Diana Ross 70's album reissue campaign: incl's Diana! TV Soundtrack

According to the info provided by CD Japan [[cdjapan.co.jp), Diana's 70's Motown albums are being reissued in the SHM CD format to commemorate her upcoming Japan shows in January. Included in the series are two long out of print albums, "Diana! The Original TV Soundtrack" and "Live At Caesars Palace", both available for approximately $13 USD.

I believe the Mahogany soundtrack is also out of print and it's also being reissued.

On a different or similar note [[?) I went to the CD Japan site today and found 4 Diana/Supremes related CD's I'm interested in; they ended up to be about $40-some dollars for all, which I didn't think was TOO bad, until I got to the shipping. The CHEAPEST shipping option was over $50.00. Um......eek!

Are there any OTHER sites that offer these CD's, with a lower shipping cost?

Hi Carlo; yes, I double checked. Perhaps it's because I was looking at buying 4 CD's at one time? It just seems like an outrageous amount.

Sorry Mary Brewster. You're right. It's like their shipping charges/policy changed literally overnight. I was on the site a few days ago and the shipping was not that expensive. I had ordered from them many times in the past and this is the first time I've seen the outrageous shipping fees that you described. How disappointing.

MaryBrewster, I checked CD Japan again today and I think I was mis-reading their shipping calculator...it shows the total cost of the order with shipping added in. I thought it was the cost of shipping on its own. FYI.
