One thing missing from your article is that our own Tom Moulton mixed that record. It had tons of bass on it.

I remember being very happy when Do It... came out because New York wasn't into funk
nowhere near as hard as folks in the south. I also remember BT Express as the opening
act for Marvin Gaye. Great memories, great times. I loved Barbara vocals, wish she'd stayed
in the game longer.If That Makes You Happy was the joint back then for me...I still bump that
track when I doing housework on the weekends:)...Probably will today....
