This is a woman who I never felt got her just due. Awesome singer and a real nice lady, i think thye should do an "Unsung" on her. this is one of my favorite cuts by her:

So many people slept on Marlena back in the day it wasn't even funny. I used to play Go Away Little Boy at my folks
house parties and turn the joint out. Marlena, in fact is still singing and has updated that song over the years. She's a
big hit at jazz fests here [[US) and Canada. I love her...
