I've been co-hosting a radio show called Got Soul? since January that airs every Monday at 1pm EST.
Thought these shows would be of interest to SD members.
For the next 2 shows[[Oct. 6 + 13) we will be delving DEEP into the Motown family of labels. Anna, Harvey, Mel-o-dy, Soul, Tamla, Motown, Gordy...As usual, we will be playing lots of obscurities and very few of the "hits" that have reigned on Oldies radio since the 60s. This was a fun show to put together, especially the early years before it became the "Sound of Young America". It started as a straight up R&B label and we have some killer stuff for you to listen to. Tune in from 1~4p EST on WFDU-FM, 89.1, www.wfdu.fm, streaming or archived for two weeks. Also, now on iHeart Radio...
