Looks like 1974s live album from Rare Earth may be coming to CD from Culture Factory on 18th November. "Live In Chicago" was Rare Earth RS 547L though I'm not sure if it actually got released on vinyl.

I'm just starting to get into Rare Earth and am amazed at what a kick a** band they were. After listening to the structured Funk Brothers classic era sound [[and loved it), Rare Earth is a breath of fresh air. Can't wait for this release.

Yup that's the one.

I do hope that this is properly proof read before its release ... "managers friend convinced BARRY GORDY'S wife Margaret ... " ... unless there was a Barry Gordy ... as well as a Berry Gordy ...

I would love Midnight Lady to be released on CD,

I agree. Midnight Lady has that heavy funk vibe from Norman Whitfield.
