I saw a clip on the internet today about this in which they interviewed a doctor. She seemed to make it sound like the drug-induced coma was sort of a preventative measure and that the "life support" status was not what you normally think of when you see that term. I hope she makes it through OK because I like the old girl!

Sad to hear. She's made me laugh for most of my life and I enjoyed her talk show from many years back. Rest in Peace.
