Today, Sunday, August 24, 2014, marks the 3rd year anniversary of the death of our beloved Esther Gordy Edwards.

It would be appropriate if everyone would take a minute to reflect on her legacy and the important role she played in the history of Motown and her dedication to creating the Motown Museum in Detroit. If it were not for her, the Motown Museum would probably not exist.

Gone but not forgotten. She was a wonderful person. And an inspiration for the nation.

Listen to our prayer as we remember Esther Gordy Edwards on the third anniversary of her death.
We thank you for the good things you have done among us by her life and example.
We are grateful that she is rejoicing with you in heaven, as we all journey forward to eventually live with her and you dear Father in your kingdom.
Keep us faithful in following the way of Jesus that we may live in your love.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
