Ace UK are back on track with the Stax catalogue & have a number of 'new' releases planned in the near future.
Amongst these are reissues for old Stax albums from the likes of the Sons Of Truth, Roy Lee Johnson & The Villagers, Mel & Tim plus John Gary Williams.
So it seems that things are A OK and 'the whole damn world ain't gone crazy' yet !!!

That's Stax after the split from Atlantic. Some of the early Stax stuff - except for Otis Redding catalog _ has been allowed to slip back into obscurity. The fact that the Stax masters are owned or controlled by two companies is a problem. They are never on the same page at the same time and some of the music gets licensed to different labels while other masters and artists get neglected.
