I saw that on the ticker tape or crawl on CNN the other day while in Boston. A very talented man that definitely contributed to our collective Pop Culture and musical legacy. Rest in peace Gerry and thanks man!

Very sad to hear this. Gerry Goffin and Carole King were my favourite songwriting team. Gerry Goffin's music brought a lot of joy to many, many people. My sister was also a friend of Gerry's daughter. 76 is not an old age anymore.
