Fantastic value at £30.93 to see the brilliant Bettye. Contrast that with the price of seeing the Ojays in London, refer to my forum posting on that matter.....

Have a good time at the show! Bettye is a MUST see! I always see her when she's in town. I think I've seen her four times now...

Bettye Lavette did an interview with Tavis Smiley on PBS a couple of years back which has to be the most honest, forthright conversations I have ever witnessed?

The lady is a true survivor.

I must second that emotion.....about all of her interviews

As a sophomore, my granddaughter had an assignment to do a special kind book report [[it was almost like a journal or diary) about someone in the same artistic field. Unbeknownst to me, she chose Bettye's book for her report. I wasn't Real happy with her choice....but cat outta bag.....and she got B+.....best grade in that class all year.
