Whilst this interview is from 1993, it has been remastered and is one hour dedicated to Ivy Jo Hunter. I know there is a huge amount of interest in Ivy Jo Hunter, and whilst we can hope the album will eventually be released, this is a great piece on Ivy Jo...... courtesy of Bill Randle and Mickey Nold of : -http://science-of-soul.blogspot.co.uk/

Thanks for this, never seen it before.

I Can Feel The Pain - best Ivy composition in my opinion.

Born To Love You by The Temptations, I'll Keep Holding On by The Marvelettes and the work he did on The Four Tops first album is brilliant. Sad that he doesn't get enough credit. Thanks for posting this interview!

Thanks for posting this! Interesting that he had nothing to do with the writing of MR&TV My Baby Loves Me! I think the same thing happened with the Happening and All I know About you with Frank Devol.

I like the Isley Brothers' version of Born To Love You better, and have you heard Ivy's version of it? Those two are fantastic, and second to I Can Feel The Pain in my opinion.

I haven't heard Marvin's 'Sweet Thing' for years. What a gem. As for 'Ask The Lonely', that must be my all-time favourite Motown track. Ivy Jo's contribution to Motown is immeasurable. What a talent. And a nice guy judging from this interview.

An Ivy Jo cd release must surely be one of the last GREAT compilations yet to be created.....ACE?
