You can't "make it" as a musician any more. You can as a rapper/lip-syncer/pop band/boy band/etc. but not as a straight up amazing guitar player, or amazing drummer. It's really too bad. Gotta respect all the old time jazz men still going at it all these years, while not even drawing a dime.
